The inaugural Mondaq ESG Comparative Guide has been launched. Bennett Jones' Radha Curpen is the contributing editor. She and 10 other Bennett Jones lawyers author the Canadian chapter of the Guide.
Mondaq's ESG Guide initially includes 18 chapters with contributions from pre-eminent lawyers in leading law firms in Canada, U.S., U.K., Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Brazil and more. More chapters will be added post-launch.
"This is an ESG guide unlike any other," says Radha. "It provides a comprehensive view of the most important ESG regulations around the world—and the opportunities and obligations they create. The Guide's contributors are among the most knowledgeable and accomplished ESG lawyers in their jurisdictions. Writing and launching this guide under the Mondaq banner gives it a reach and authority that is second-to-none."
Mondaq's ESG Guide provides an in-depth, comparative analysis of each jurisdiction's:
- legal and regulatory ESG framework—and how it is governed and enforced ESG;
- scope of ESG application;
- disclosure and transparency;
- strategy and governance;
- financing—approaches, developments and best practices; and
- state of ESG activism and more.
